Species Description
A first record for Britain!? Either V. australis or E. americana? (probably the former). Other names include: Australian Eelgrass. The lake is used for fishing so potentially it was introduced with added stock but more likely it came from someones aquarium and got too large for it. I first found it in 2020 but it's clearly been there for a long time as it covers quite a sizeable area.
