Species Description
Widespread but local throughout much of England and the eastern half of Scotland; very rare elsewhere. Habitat includes: woodland edge, open scrub, rough grassland, hill pastures, railway banks, roadside verges etc. predominantly on calcareous soils. Flowers: June to August.
