Species Description
Widespread throughout the UK but only found as native in Wales and South Western England. It has naturalised throughout the rest of the UK as garden escapes. Habitat includes: Damp, rocky places such as woodland, shaded cliff ledges, gardens (often escapes), hedgerows, base of walls, roadside verges, wasteland, hillsides etc. Height: Up to 50 cm. Flowers: June to August (I've seen it flower from April to November). Perennial. Mainly yellow forms occur but sometimes orange.
