Species Description
Widespread but local throughout the UK. Habitat includes: walls, rocky, dry, shady places such as wasteland, woodland, hedge banks, scrub (chalk / limestone but also acidic rocks in some places. In the Burren, limestone pavement etc. Flowers: June to September. Growing habit: Perennial. Other names include: Lactuca muralis. Height: 25 to 150 cm.
