Honckenya peploides (L.) Ehrh. - Sea Sandwort.
Decumbent to erect flowering stems to 25cm arising from extensive stolons or rhizomes; leaves ovate, succulent; petals about as long as sepals in male flowers, much shorter in female flowers; 2n=48, about 64, 68. Native; bare maritime sand and sandy shingle; common round coasts of British Isles.
