Species Description
Widespread but local throughout England, Wales and the very Southern tip of Scotland. Habitat includes: Calcareous and acid soils in places such as damp meadows, grassland, fen-meadows, wet heaths, heathy mires, stabilised dunes, open scrub, woodland, rocky lake shores, maritime cliff-tops, roadside verges, railway banks, gravel-pits etc. Growing habit: Perennial. Flowers: July to September.
