Species Description
Widespread but local, mainly around coasts throughout the UK but absent from Eastern Scotland and North Eastern England. Inland it is rare. Habitat includes: Upper saltmarshes, rough grassland, drained estuarine marshes, brackish dykes, lower reaches of tidal rivers, marshes, fen-meadows, fens etc. Growing habit: Perennial. Height: Up to 1 m.
