Species Description
Widespread and fairly common only on the Western side of the UK, more scattered in the East. Habitat includes: Damp, shady places such as boggy woodland (wet flushes / shallow springs), stream sides, mountain ledges, grikes, sink-holes in limestone etc. Height: Up to 12 cm. Flowers: February to June. Identification: Has no petals, 8 stamens. Stoloniferous Perennial.
