Species Description
Widespread and fairly common in the South but more restricted to coasts further North. Habitat includes: Well-drained, calcareous to mildly acidic soils in places such as heavily grazed, trampled grassland, dry moorland, stony banks, limestone / basic rock outcrops, fixed dunes, tracks, sand / gravel-pits, dune-slacks, rutted tracks, sandy pond margins etc. Growing habit: Biennial / Perennial. Flowers: June to October.
