Species Description
Widespread but scattered and local throughout the UK. It is declining slowly. Habitat includes: Dry, free-draining, gravelly / sandy soils, favouring limestone in open grassy places such as commons, pastures, banks, pits, tracks, wasteland, rocky / stony places, coastal meadows, cliff tops, dune slacks etc. Flowers: June to September. Perennial. Height: Up to 50 cm. Other names include: Silver Cinquefoil, Silvery Cinquefoil, Silver-leaf Cinquefoil.
