Species Description
Common and widespread throughout the UK bar North West Scotland where it occurs only by the coast. Habitat includes: disturbed, nutrient-rich places such as gardens, parks, allotments, churchyards, wasteland, coasts, roadside verges, tips, spoil heaps, arable fields, manure heaps etc. Growing habit: Annual. Flowers: June to October. Height: Up to 150 cm. Other names include: Lamb's Quarters, Melde, Goosefoot, Wild Spinach, White Goosefoot.
