Species Description

I believe this plant is new to science! I found it growing along a side of a cycle path adjacent to Bedminster Train Station in an open, scrubby, sunny but damp location. One of its parents (Common Ragwort) was seen growing nearby. It has characteristics of both parents being green-stemmed with basal leaves more similar in shape (but smaller) to J. vulgaris and covered all over in grey, glandular hairs with flower buds intermediate. The leaves nearer the top were slightly deformed.

Either Sticky Groundsel x Common Ragwort or just Sticky Groundsel in shade.
