Species Description
Widespread and scattered throughout the UK, being most common around cities. Habitat includes: gardens, parks, allotments, churchyards, roadside verges, railway banks, wasteland, tips, woodland, rough grassland etc. Growing habit: Perennial. Height: Up to 60 cm. Flowers: May to September. Other names include: Oxford Crane's-bill. First cultivated in Britain in 1932 and is much grown in gardens; it has been recorded in the wild since 1954.
