Narcissus poeticus x N. moschatus = N. x boutignyanus.
Widely planted throughout the UK.

Narcissus x boutignyanus Philippe (N. poeticus x N. moschatus) - Boutigny's Daffodil.
Differs from N. x incomparabilis in tepals 25-40mm, white; corona often <2/3 as long as tepals; (2n=27). Neophyte-naturalised; frequently naturalised in Britain North to Mid West Yorkshire, Moray, Guernsey, County Waterford; wild Iberian and garden origin. Cultivars belong to Division 2.

- Tepals patent to erecto-patent or very slightly reflexed
- All 6 stamens borne at same level close to base of corolla
- Corona usually >10mm, if <10mm then longer than tepals, about as long as to much longer than wide; stamens all of same length or more or less so; hypanthial tube usually distinctly widening towards apex, sometimes more or less parallel-sided
- Tepals ovate-lanceolate or triangular-ovate to suborbicular, ≥5mm wide
- Corona distinctly shorter than tepals; hypanthial tube >2x as long as greatest width
- Flower 1; leaves more or less glaucous, ≥8mm wide; stem distinctly 2-edged
- Tepals white
