Species Description

Rare casual, scattered throughout the UK.

Stace 4:

Ssp. oleifera (DC.) Metzg. - Turnip-rape.

Root slender; seeds mostly >1.6mm, red-brown; (2n=20). Neophyte-casual; grown as fodder or oilseed crop; mostly a birdseed or oil-processing alien.
