Species Description
Widespread and fairly frequent throughout the South, more scarce in the North. Habitat includes: gardens, parks, allotments, churchyards, Fields, roadside verges, wasteland, railway banks, sandy seashores, river-banks, stream sides, spoil heaps etc. Growing habit: Perennial. Flowers: May to June. It replaced the Native Dittander (Lepidium latifolium) for cultivation as a hot relish.
