Species Description
Widespread and fairly frequent throughout the UK but more so towards the South West. Habitat includes: Likes damp shaded places such as woodland rides, hedgerows, roadside verges, wasteland, paths, crevices in old walls etc. Height: Up to 90 cm. Flowers: April to October. Other names include: Celandine Poppy. Has been present since the Roman times.
