Widespread and fairly frequent as a planted tree throughout England but less so elsewhere. Habitat includes: parks, gardens, estates especially next to lakes, rivers and canals etc. Flowers: April to May. Growing habit: Deciduous Perennial. Height and spread: Up to 25 m. Lifespan: 50 years.
