Species Description
Found as a garden escape, Blaise Castle. Plant climbing and intertwining into the tree canopy (about 6 m) and also sprawling across the ground. Leaflets 5 (with the basal 2 facing backwards slightly), oblong, base rounded, apex emarginate. Flowers purple, Monoecious. Height: Up to 10m. Other names include: Five-leaf Chocolate Vine, Five-leaf Akebia. Native to South East Asia.
