Species Description
Widespread and fairly frequent in the South becoming scarce in the North. Habitat includes: Any where with Crucifers in places such as gardens, parks, allotments, churchyards, fields, arable land, meadows, coasts, wasteland etc. Life story: The larva feed on various cruciferous such as Turnip, Radish, Horseradish etc.; overwintering in the ground as a cocoon before emerging the following year. Flight period: April to October. Length: 7 - 8 mm.
