Species Description
Widespread and locally frequent in the South. Habitat includes: Grassy places such as meadows, field margins, roadside verges, railway banks, wasteland, coasts etc. Life story: Larvae develop in the stems of various grasses such as Timothy. Flight period: May to July. Length: 7 - 9 mm.
