Species Description
Widespread and fairly frequent throughout the UK. Habitat includes: woodland, parks, churchyards, estates etc. Life story: Gregarious on fallen, decaying Beech leaves. It can also rarely be seen on other deciduous trees leaves, such as of Oaks and Willows (I've recorded it on Sycamore). Seen: Late Autumn to Early Spring. Diameter: 1 - 3 mm.
