Species Description
Common and widespread throughout the UK. Habitat includes: woodland, heaths, marshes, fens, field margins, gardens, parks, allotments, churchyards etc. Food plant: various herbaceous plants but especially Common Nettle. Flight period: 2 generations (May to June and August to September).
