Species Description

Common and widespread in the Southern half of the UK; local in the North. Habitat includes: Grassy places such as grassland, meadows, roadside verges, railway banks, wasteland, coasts, gardens, parks, allotments, churchyards etc. Flight period: July to August. Wingspan: 21 - 28 mm.
