Species Description
Common and widespread throughout th UK. Habitat includes: Anywhere where the food plat occurs i.e. in woodland, hedgerows, wasteland, roadside verges, gardens, parks, allotments, churchyards etc. Other names include: Nettle-tap. Wingspan: 10 - 15 mm. Flight period: May to August (day flying).
