Species Description
Widespread and locally common throughout the UK. Habitat includes: woodland, gardens, parks, churhyards etc. The caterpillars produces mass Halloween like webbing on Bird-cherry trees; causing news headlines to erupt with ridiculous headlines of 'invasion' each year. Flight period: July to August.
