Species Description
Common and widespread throughout the UK. A non-native introduction which is increasing. Habitat includes: gardens, parks, churchyards, allotments, nurseries etc. Length: 20 - 25 mm. Other names include: Deroceras panormitanum. Life story: lays around 30 eggs / week each of which take about 2 weeks to hatch. Reaches sexual maturity in around eight weeks. It was introduced in the early 1930s.
