Species Description
Widespread and fairly frequent in the South being more localised North. Habitat includes: Damp, Flower-rich places with lots of Aphids such as gardens, parks, allotments, churchyards, meadows, fields, roadside verges, wasteland, hedgerows, scrub, woodland etc. Flight period: March to October, peaking in March. Lengths: Wings = 6.5 - 8.5mm.
