Species Description
Widespread and fairly frequent in the South. Habitat includes: Anywhere with the host plant in places such as gardens, parks, allotments, churchyards, field margins, roadside verges etc. Flight period: May to September. Causes galls on the stems of Creeping Thistle (Cirsium arvense).
