Species Description
Widespread and fairly frequent in the Southern half of the UK. Habitat includes: Places with damp wooded areas and deer such as: woodland, parkland etc. Length= 8.5 - 10 mm. Flight period: May to September. Larvae live in wet mud by the side of streams.
