Species Description
Widespread throughout the Southern half of the UK except for the far West. Was rare in the 19th century but has since expanded in range and grown increasingly common. Habitat includes: hedgerows, woodland, scrub et. Seen all year round. Other names include: Eysarcoris fabricii. Length: 5 - 7 mm. Diet: Larvae = Hedge Woundwort, White Dead Nettle. life story: eggs laid from spring to early summer reaching adulthood by August (1 generation per year).
