Species Description
Common and widespread throughout the UK but mainly the South. Habitat includes: Dry, grassy places such as limestone / chalk downland, meadows, grassland, roadside verges, gardens, parks, allotments, churchyards, hedgerows, scrub, railway banks, coastal cliffs, wasteland etc. Diet: Adults and Nymphs = the flowers and developing seeds of a variety of grasses. Adult: June to September. Length: 6 - 7 mm.
