Species Description
Widespread but very scarce in the south-east but is increasing. Habitat includes: Warm sparsely vegetated places such as heathland, acidic grassland, sand dunes etc. Life story: feeds on the developing seeds of Sheep's Sorrel (Rumex acetosella). Life story: There are two generations per year. Nymphs are found from June to August. Length: 5 - 6.5 mm. Seen: All year round.
