Species Description

Widespread and locally frequent throughout the UK. Habitat includes: Anywhere with Foxgloves such as woodland, heaths, lane-sides, roadside verges, gardens, parks, allotments, churchyards etc. I have recorded on Sweet Tobacco (Nicotiana alata) so it is not fully restricted to Foxglove. Length: Length 3.5 - 4 mm. Seen: All year round.
