Species Description
Widespread but very scarce in the South East but is increasing. Habitat includes: Warm sparsely vegetated places such as heathland, acid grassland, sand dunes etc. Life story: feeds on the developing seeds of Sheep's Sorrel (Rumex acetosella). Nymphs are found from June to August. There are two generations per year. Length: 5 - 6.5 mm. Seen: All year round.
