Species Description
Probably common and widespread throughout the UK given its food plant's status. Habitat includes: Anywhere with Broad-leaved Willowherb in places such as gardens, parks, allotments, churchyards, wasteland, roadside verges, cycle paths, pavements, base of walls and fences, hedgerows, scrub, woodland etc. Length: 1.3 - 2.1 mm. Sexual forms occur in Autumn. Life story: Eggs overwinter and hatch in spring. They are often seen in mixed species colonies. By Late September, sexual forms are produced. They are rarely ant attended.
