Species Description

Widespread and fairly frequent in the South, scattered in the North. Habitat includes: Places with lots of log and stone piles such as woodland, gardens, parks, churchyards etc. A Non-native from central and eastern Europe which was first recorded in England in 1942 and has since spread throughout Britain. Seen: All year round. Length: 8 - 10 mm.
