  • Verbascum lychnitis ssp. lychnitis (Kew) var. lychnitis (Stace) (White Mullein) - could occur - exists in S. Somerset around Minehead - Stace
  • Anthyllis vulneraria ssp. vulneraria var. langei (Stace) (Kidney Vetch) - could occur
  • Genista anglica var. subinermis (Stace, NBN) (Petty Whin) - could occur
  • Polygala vulgaris ssp. collina (Stace, NBN) (Common Milkwort) - could occur
  • Pyrus pyraster ssp. pyraster (Stace) (Wild Pear) - will occur
  • Pyrus pyraster ssp. achras (Stace) (Wild Pear) - could occur
  • Polycarpon tetraphyllum var. diphyllum (Stace, NBN) (Four-leaved Allseed) - probably not but could occur
  • Spergula arvensis var. sativa (Stace, NBN) (Corn Spurrey) - could occur
  • Veronica scutellata var. villosa (Stace, NBN) (Marsh Speedwell) - probably occurs
  • Baldellia ranunculoides ssp. repens (Stace, NBN) (Lesser Water-plantain) - could occur
  • Epipactis leptochila (var. leptochila and var. cleistogama) - the sole record in TFOTBR from Clarken Coombe, near Ashton Court, was a mistake for what turned out to be E. phyllanthes var. vectensis. E. leptochila var. cleistogama occurs in West Gloucestershire just outside the region and is mentioned for the first time "on the steep western slope of the Cotswolds, under shelter of beech; not rare near Wotton-under-Edge." - p. 613 Glos. Fl. and the normal var. leptochila has been recorded nearby from Dursley and Stinchcombe Hill. It should be looked for in ancient woodlands near the northern boundary such as Lower Woods.
  • Hordelymus europaeus (Wood Barley) - exists painfully close to the border around Wotton-under-Edge.
