Libby Houston (Currently aged 82). Famous for studying flora of the Avon Gorge particularly for her work in mapping and discovering Whitebeam's. In 2007 she had her very own Whitebeam tree named after her - Houston's Whitebeam (Sorbus aria x S. bristoliensis = S. houstoniae) Only one exists, as a result it is joint with Wood's cycad (Encephalartos Woodii) as the second rarest plant in the world.
