Great Quarry

Description

Also called Tennis Court Quarry. It is one of the most biodiverse (particularly in flora) parts of the Avon Gorge as it suffers little Human Disturbance. It is one of the most beautiful sites in Bristol and holds great views. Standing in it, it's hard to believe you're in a city! If your lucky you may even see Peregrine Falcons flying over. I myself have experienced them trying to flush out prey hidden against the cliff.
