Species Description

Widespread but local throughout the UK. Most common in Wales. Habitat includes: rough grassland, roadside verges etc. Growing habit: Perennial. Flowers: June to September. ID: Stems have 4 ridges (square cross section), but are not winged. Leaves have no (or very few) translucent glands, black glands on leaves, petals and sometimes sepals.
