Species Description

Common and widespread in the southern half of the UK. Habitat includes: on vegetation of various sorts such as gardens, parks, allotments, churchyards, scrub, woodland, hedgerows etc. Life story: hunts for smaller prey items such as Thrips, Aphids etc. and is often used in biological control. Length: 2.2 - 2.5 mm.
